I have the very best of professions! I am fortunate enough to match individuals with the multi-million dollar homes of their ultimate dreams!

A week ago, I showed a fabulous deep-water residence to a delightful newly engaged couple. As we toured the residence I remarked to them that it is real estate dating when looking for the perfect fit! They laughed but I think the simple analogy resonated with them both.

Real estate dating is not so much fun after the fifteenth house. Sometimes, the photos do not match the residence – big surprise there; the house may not be well maintained or clean. The floorplan creates the functional and energy flow of a residence just like the energy of a person, it might not be a good match. On it goes, the

the impact of technology is pervasive, changing the landscape of modern business and the real estate industry is no exception. As a specialist and a business owner, I perceive technology as a positive fluid component, a welcome disruption to the real estate industry.

Albeit, a challenge to keep up with, it is critical to do so because technology presents opportunities to both sellers and buyers - a wider marketplace, more meaningful accessibility to preview and experience properties from the comfort of their armchair and greater transparency with regard to information about properties on the market as well as real estate agents. From the perspective of a business owner, technology and the World Wide Web allows me to efficiently increase my national

Julie Jones-Bernard from Florida Luxurious Properties in Fort Lauderdale has been noticing a growing trend in the demand for private residences that will accommodate extended family living requirements.

Julie states, “It is a fact that as we live longer we are expecting more from our residences – an unexpected but welcome family addition, adult children returning to the fold, blended and extended families, the guest or relative from out of State or overseas who visits (and never leaves), plus don’t forget the grandparents, nanny, house manager or Boat Captain.”  A residence that will truly accommodate and give pleasure for decades or generations to come is not an unusual request at the exclusive boutique brokerage of Florida Luxurious Properties.

Buying a Home Near Schools in Florida

For many people, the decision to purchase a property is one of the biggest financial transactions they will ever make. Price and location are often the major influencing factors; however there are other considerations to buying a home, such as accessibility and proximity to good local schools. In the era of Tiger Mothers and the maternal instinct to provide the best opportunities such as access to quality education for their children, it is not surprising that school rankings is increasingly becoming an important consideration in a buyer’s decision to purchase a home.

According to the 2014 National Association of REALTORS® Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, 29% of home buyers listed school quality and 22%

For many who enjoy the year round Florida sunshine and live in Fort Lauderdale, "The Yachting Capital of the World", nautical pursuits are a popular pastime. Lobster season, or “bug hunting” as the locals affectionately call it, just kicked off. Anglers with an appetite for game fishing have been warming up the waters pursuing Blue Marlins as they wait for the coming Sailfish and Blackfin Tuna season in September and October.

Always ready to “float your boat”? The almost rain-free summer has provided good visibility and calm waters for free divers, scuba divers, snorkelers and anglers. For a more relaxed activity, simply take a boat ride through the grand canals or the intracoastal waterways and enjoy the summer breeze. Any boat enthusiast will

Rio Vista, meaning “River View” in Spanish was christened by C.J. Hector an Iowan developer who began developing the area in the 1920s. It is one of Greater Fort Lauderdale’s most coveted and charming luxurious residential neighborhoods. As one of our oldest communities, Rio Vista’s charm stems from its history reflected in the eclectic mix of architecture which spans decades. Driving through this community, you will notice Spanish/Mediterranean Revival homes, sprawling mansions, quaint cottages, warm inviting bungalows and prominent modern estates. Every house is unique and is representative of the period in which it was constructed.

This sense of community reflects a tight-knit bond amongst residents which draws families to Rio Vista. It is

Harbor Beach is a prestigious neighborhood in East Fort Lauderdale. It is and remains the oldest and most desirable luxury residential community.
