When passionate about your charities of choice you earn great results. Michael Catalano and I jumped at the opportunity to join American National Bank help launch the Little Christmas House campaign for 4KIDS and HOPE South Florida after viewing the heart-wrenching video of abandoned children being offered shelter by 4KIDS of South Florida, then witnessing how HOPE South Florida aids single parents who become suddenly homeless. We specialize in finding homes for our customers. How could we not put our hearts into housing neglected children and homeless single parents?

Our campaign focus is the street that houses Florida Luxurious Properties: East Las Olas Boulevard. We launched our efforts the day before Thanksgiving. Most of the merchants we

When a trio of enterprising gentlemen purchased the area called Coral Ridge Properties in 1953 for $19 million from Chicago attorney and real estate developer, Arthur T. Galt, the huge track of land reaching south from Sunrise Boulevard northward to Commercial Boulevard, and west from Federal Highway eastward to the Intracoastal Waterway was not yet considered part of Fort Lauderdale!

A prized parcel in this purchase was an area that had been earmarked for a Palm Beach-like village to be called the Floranada Club, only to be halted from further progress with the land bust and hurricane of 1926. Coral Ridge Country Club became this desirable tract when James S. Hunt, Joseph Taravella and Stephen Calder began developing the area in 1954 with Robert

We at Florida Luxurious Properties are excited to learn about a new program from Gibraltar Private Bank designed specifically for professionals, and more accurately toward physicians and attorneys to maximize purchasing real estate.

The Gibraltar lending program offers a 90% loan to value ratio on a mortgage, which means they are offering loans to Professionals requiring only 10% down. Compared to the usual 20% down requirement, this offer is impressive and a great incentive for financing a luxury real estate investment.

The Professionals 90% LTV Program offers:

  • - Primary Residence and Second Homes only
  • - Primary Residence up to 89.5% LTV with no mortgage insurance
  • - Second homes receive a 5% loan to value increase based on

The value of waterfront property in South Florida is dependent on many factors: Amount of water frontage, proximity to the inlet, depth and width of canal and the property setback rules for the area.

Each week I will highlight three available properties in various price ranges that should be considered by someone with an interest in boating and future resale value.

  1. $1.2 million: 3081 NE 44th Street in Coral Ridge; MLS # F1226529; Listed By Atlantic Properties International. This home is considered a “Value Property” for South Florida as it is one of the lowest priced available homes that boasts 85’ on the water. The property is the 3rd lot in from the Intracoastal with no fixed bridges. The canal is 80’ wide so this home can dock a 70’ boat

Working in luxury real estate sales in Fort Lauderdale, I am a huge enthusiast of the small business sector in South Florida. From my association with a private real estate brokerage for the last ten years, and now that I have opened Florida Luxurious Properties on Las Olas, I enjoy the high level of customer service that a small brokerage can provide both sellers and buyers of luxury real estate.
The figures reported by Chief Executive Magazine in July are encouraging. Florida ranks Number 2 as the best state for business.

In keeping with a promise to make a difference in children's lives, November began with a great opportunity for me to represent Florida Luxurious Properties as a VIP table sponsor at the Museum of Discovery & Science’s annual Black Tie Gala. The purpose of the Gala is to raise funds to aid young men and women who age out of foster care.

Erica and Erika

The Museum of Discovery & Science understands the challenge that this transitional time creates for foster children emerging into the workplace and offers an internship program each year to help candidates prepare for the “real” world. I wholly support this cause and welcomed Julie Jones-Bernard, Louis Bernard and Erica Axani from Florida Luxurious Properties, and Jill Horowitz with Lifestyles Las Olas

The 55th Annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show proceeded for five days beneath a warm tropical sun, which concluded the celebration on Monday with a symphony of hundreds of boat horns. The balmy weather and cool breezes were perfect, as were the many transactions matching boaters with their newest, exciting seafaring vessels. Many inside professionals are saying this was the most successful show in over 10 years. Over 100,000 people attended the show to witness the billion dollars of boats on display in the gorgeous weather.

Philip Burroughs, Florida Luxurious Properties Yachting Property Expert, had the unique position of representing both Florida Luxurious Properties and Sanlorenzo Yachts at the Sanlorenzo display at the heart of the
